Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My amazing students are curious, creative learners who benefit from hands-on tools and clear audio support to help them succeed. As a special education teacher, I see how the right materials can make a world of difference.

Math manipulatives help my students develop a strong number sense and visualize concepts like place value, fractions, and operations.

They make abstract concepts more concrete and easier to understand.

Using reading manipulatives such as the Reading Vocabulary Activities Bundle and comprehension tools supports decoding, fluency, and comprehension through multisensory learning.

Students should have headphones and a headphone holder so they can engage in independent learning programs without distractions. This will help them stay focused during digital lessons and assessments.

Students need calculators to support those with IEPs who require access to tools that level the playing field during instruction and testing, providing necessary accommodations that allow them to access grade-level math content confidently.

These resources will help my students stay focused, engaged, and empowered to learn in ways that work best for them.
