My Project

As a school-based speech-language pathologist, my mission is to equip students with the tools they need to build stronger language skills and more effective functional communication. The books, toys, and games I’m requesting will be essential in making therapy sessions more engaging, hands-on, and impactful. These materials support language development, expand vocabulary, foster social interaction, and improve everyday communication—all within a fun and encouraging setting. Books will aid in developing story comprehension and articulation, while toys and games will give students opportunities to practice real-world communication skills like making requests, following directions, and holding conversations. With these new resources, I’ll be better able to meet the unique needs of my students and help them grow into more confident communicators—both in the classroom and in their daily lives. Your support will have a meaningful, lasting effect on their ability to connect, learn, and thrive.
