My Project
In our Pre-K classroom, we believe that a well-rested child is a happy child, ready to explore the world of learning with enthusiasm and curiosity. To support our students' growth and development, we are seeking funding for high-quality napping mats. These mats will ensure our young learners have a comfortable and safe space to recharge in the middle of the day.
Nap time is an essential part of our young students' daily routine, providing them with the rest they need to rejuvenate and prepare for an afternoon of learning and exploration.
During our 2025-2026 school year, we are moving into a full day schedule but our classroom is not outfitted to support a nap time. Our floor is 100% tile and provides no soft locations to support a proper nap time. These mats will provide a soft place for our students to rest and relax and the rolling cart will provide a safe and convenient location to store the mats when they are not in use by the students.
By providing the students comfortable napping mats, we can create a soft touch to our environment that promotes restful sleep. The requested mats are durable and easy to clean, ensuring they last for years to come. With your generous support, we can provide each child with their own cozy space to rest, which is crucial for their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
