Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are hardworking and resilient. The approximately 480 students I teach weekly are all unique individuals; coming from various backgrounds and homes, having a variety of interests and hobbies. My students are surrounded by love and support, but may not have the materials they need in school. Their parents and other family members are hardworking, but may not have the financial means beyond providing for their child's essential needs. The physical tools they need like pencils, markers, folders and other materials should not hinder their access to a great learning experience and supportive classroom environment. This donation will give them the materials, but also the confidence to thrive.
