My Students

My students are a unique group of diverse learners. They come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds, and they have a variety of needs. They also have an array of strengths. One of my favorite things about my students is how much they love to laugh!

My Project

These items (the easel, markers, and lined white boards) will be used in both small group and whole group learning. The easel can be used to hold our class big books, charts, and other learning materials to make it easier for the students to see while they are being used during our whole group carpet lessons. Right now, we are using a chair to store some of those items, and hanging our big charts by a screw in the wall. This works, but we could be much more organized with the easel. The lined white boards and markers will be used for both whole group and small group instruction. Having these lined white boards makes it easier for my students to apply the proper handwriting practices that I have taught them. The small markers will make it even easier for them to write neatly on the lined white boards. I want these items to be able to offer different teaching methods to make it easier for my students to learn. The less distractions and inconveniences they have in the day, the easier it will be for them to absorb what they are being taught.
