I have an amazing class of twenty active and ambitious first graders who come from very diverse backgrounds. My students are always eager to learn and love coming to school. I feel we have a tight bond and we are like family!
We are always learning to be kind and compassionate learners!
We work hard and get a lot of things accomplished during our day! They are very active, so it helps to include lots of movement throughout the day!
My Project
The tools I am asking for will be used to help my students with sensory needs and fun games to help them learn math. In first grade, we learn adding and subtracting and any way I can make it fun, they love it! These games will allow independence during non structured teaching! The number lines will be amazing for students to have a tool that works for them to help them with adding and subtracting. The current math program I use incorporates number lines in adding and subtracting. I feel these tools are really going to help my students!
