This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These resources will allow my students to calm down, or use for sensory use. These tools will help my students grow to learn different strategies to calm down. Students will use these tools during calming time after lunch. It allows them to relax and take time to collect them selves.

SEL tools like calm corners, breathing exercises, and mood check-ins help students recognize and manage their emotions.

For students who struggle with frustration, anxiety, or impulsivity, these tools provide structured ways to pause, reflect, and calm down before reengaging with learning or peers.
