My Students

My students are an exceptional group of Kindergarten, First, and Second graders who receive learning support services indicated by their Individualized Education Program. Services include direct Reading and Math instruction, Behavioral Support, and Social Skills Instruction. They are serviced outside of the general education classroom with and without their same aged peers.

My Project

The students that I service receive various forms of specially designed instruction. The materials requested are supplementary aids that support adaptations to their instruction. For example, the Handwriting Stamp will provide students with structure for proper letter formation on any worksheet. The Finger Spacers will support my students' understanding of using spaces between words when writing sentences. The games will provide sensory based learning experiences for reading and math. In addition, the Feelings Pocket Chart and Breathing Boards will support students' social and emotional needs throughout the day. All materials will be used during small group instruction within the Learning Support environment.
