My students need Chromebooks. We use them every day because they are small, easy-to-use, and powerful for the work that students do, which includes searching the internet, drafting documents, and quizzing on books.

My Students
Every student in my classroom deserves only the best every day in school. The boys and girls come to fourth grade every day full of energy and curiosity. They are ambitious, smart, and committed.
Our neighborhood school is 60 years old but it is young at heart!
Inside its brick walls kids happily research and write, confer and collaborate. These are urban students who walk to school from a changing and growing community. Our kids reflect their own diverse world.
My Project
My students work on their computers every day and we can not "do" fourth grade without them. With their computer access, my students research, search the internet, write essays, check their understanding. Simple laptops, such as chromebooks, make life easy for students. They are small enough for fourth grade hands, easily stored, and easy to open and operate. They love these classroom tools because they are as useful and as necessary as pencils and paper. I want to make a difference in my students' lives by having enough laptops so that we have one for every student in my classroom.
