My 3rd grade students are enthusiastic, kind, and love to play and learn.
This year we are building a new school community, combining students from several nearby schools.
With all of the recent instability from the pandemic, teachers are working hard to create a welcoming and comfortable classroom space to help ease these transitions.
My Project
Students are working hard to learn organizational skills to help them transition between activities efficiently and have materials ready to go! This year, 3rd graders are responsible for storing more of their own belongings and that means keeping track of more things! These seat sacks will offer one more place to store materials.
At our school, we use flexible seating at tables instead of desks which is great for community building, but not so great for materials storage.
Students need more immediate access to some materials close by their work space.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
