This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting notebooks so that each of my students can keep problem solving strategies in one place. These notebooks will serve as a reference and study guide. In addition, I am requesting one calculator to integrate technology into my math class. This calculator will be used in a center where students will follow task cards to try to plot lines and graph solutions.

Pencils and permanent markers will be used by students to make posters that depict learning in a student friendly way.

This is important because students in many cases learn best from their peers.
