This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarteners are energetic, curious, and eager to learn both Spanish and English as part of our Dual Language Immersion program. They love hands-on activities, especially when learning letters and sounds in Spanish. Watching them light up as they recognize letters or build words is one of the best parts of my day.
To support their early literacy development, I am requesting Spanish Alphabet Teaching Tubs.
These tubs include engaging objects that connect to each letter and help students build vocabulary, sound-letter connections, and oral language skills in Spanish. I am also requesting the rack to store these tubs, and pencil boxes so each student can keep their materials organized and take responsibility for their learning tools. Having their own supplies helps foster independence and smooth daily routines in the classroom.
These materials will make a meaningful difference in creating a structured, engaging, and bilingual learning environment where every student can thrive.
