Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are curious, hardworking, and eager to learn. They come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their own unique perspectives and strengths to our classroom. Despite the challenges they may face outside of school, they arrive each day ready to engage, grow, and develop the skills they need for success.
This project will provide essential resources to support their learning in our ELA classroom.
Writing supplies will help students express their thoughts, strengthen their literacy skills, and engage in meaningful classwork. The TV will serve as a valuable tool for interactive lessons, visual storytelling, and educational videos that enhance comprehension. Headphones and an organizer will allow students to focus during independent and group activities, helping to create a structured and effective learning environment. A teacher’s cart will improve organization, ensuring that materials are easily accessible and lessons run smoothly. Additionally, storage solutions will keep our classroom tidy and functional, making it a welcoming space for learning.
One of the most exciting aspects of this project is the inclusion of incentive snacks. Many of my students are motivated by positive reinforcement, and these small rewards will encourage participation, effort, and academic progress.
My goal for this project is to create a well-equipped, engaging, and supportive classroom where my students feel empowered to read, write, and develop critical life skills. With the right tools, they can become confident learners who are prepared for the future. My students are special because they are resilient, determined, and full of potential—I want to provide them with every opportunity to thrive.
