My Students
Each semester, we enrich the lives of approximately 250 middle and high school students by introducing them to and refining their skills in the performing arts. Whether in theater, dance, or music, we empower them to passionately and artfully communicate. We educate them about the great works of our past, and then we inspire them to become great themselves. Step-by-step through classroom instruction, group projects, home study, school performances, and community events, we develop our young artists.
Our challenge is to grow our existing efforts into a conservatory of the performing arts.
We endeavor to become both a beacon of hope and a center of artistic excellence in the Broward County, Florida community. Regardless of where they started, or their family’s resources, we are providing the tools and the stage to enable children to excel and to succeed.
We’ve assembled a world-class team with an impressive track record, and we’ve collectively made the commitment to pour our hearts and our talents into this effort. We ask for your help. If you’d love to see capable youngsters thriving and optimistic about the future, please help in whatever capacity you are able. Thank you in advance.
My Project
Musical Instruments, modular shape blocks, and kinetic sand will be used within our Integrated Art classroom instruction. Children will explore using these tools.
Our children need to be engaged in fun and interesting learning in ways that will hold their attention.
With these adaptive tools, students will participate in high energy and high impact lessons. As they learn about the various elements of Integrated Art, they will supercharge their creativity, and gain practical experience communicating their ideas to peers. By progressively reinforcing lesson objectives, students will learn to sort objects, draw, recognize geometric shapes, differentiate sounds, and ultimately express themselves.
