Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These materials will allow my AVID high school students to reach success. Juniors and seniors will use the materials to create College Crates. These crates will enable them to organization college information, admissions materials, and scholarship applications to allow students to be organized when completing applications. The binders will allow my freshmen and sophomores to remain organized and therefore, be successful in their classes. The other materials will be used for class activities. All of these materials will support my high school students towards reaching success. My students are removed from the mainland due to location and often need some additional support when it comes to high school and post secondary success.
