What This Project is About:

This project equips our kindergarten classroom with essential materials that foster early literacy, phonics mastery, creative expression, and social-emotional learning.

It includes phonics manipulatives, engaging books, writing tools, sensory items, and kindness-themed resources to create a joyful and enriched learning environment.

How This Project Helps My Students and Their Learning:

Builds Strong Literacy Foundations:

With phonics dominoes, sentence match games, and decodable readers, students develop crucial reading and word-building skills aligned with the Science of Reading.

Encourages Daily Writing & Expression:

Dry erase markers, pencils, and glue sticks support interactive writing, drawing, and hands-on activities that make learning fun and develop fine motor skills.

Promotes Emotional Growth & Classroom Culture:

Books like Kindness is My Superpower and The Pigeon Has Feelings, Too! help students understand emotions and practice empathy, kindness, and positive social behavior.

Provides Sensory Support:

Kinetic sand and squishy toys offer calming sensory experiences, supporting focus and emotional regulation, especially for students who benefit from fidget tools.

Fuels Creativity & Engagement:
