Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Here’s how each resource can make a significant difference in my students’ learning and why I’ve chosen them:
My goal is to create a classroom environment where students are encouraged to explore, express, and engage fully with the content.
These tools will help them organize their learning, participate in hands-on activities, and express themselves creatively. Additionally, by ensuring that students have the supplies they need, I can minimize interruptions and maximize learning time.
Markers: Essential for both creativity and clarity. Students can use them for writing, drawing, and presenting their ideas in visually appealing ways. For some students, using markers is also a great way to highlight important information, keeping them engaged and helping them retain what they learn.
Tape and Tape Dispensers: Incredibly useful for hands-on projects, organizing learning materials, and creating visual aids. The convenience of tape dispensers means students won’t waste time struggling with tearing tape, and it can also give them a sense of independence as they handle materials on their own.
Pencil Sharpener: A sharp pencil is essential for clear writing and drawing. Having a functional pencil sharpener in the classroom ensures that students don’t lose valuable class time searching for one or dealing with dull pencils.
Pencil Box: Organization is key for students, especially when it comes to keeping their supplies in one place. A pencil box gives students in the class all the necessary supplies they need. Students don't need to worry about bringing their own supplies, since they will be provided in class.
