This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students I see in the Wellness Center are brave, strong, and smart. They and their families have faced challenges that have brought them to our doors, and they continue to show resilience and dedication toward their goals. We work to serve these students and their families with dignity as we provide mental health services.

Talking about feelings is hard, but a warm space can invite the kinds of conversations and healing we love to facilitate at the Wellness Center.

The items such as Contact Paper, 3 Tier Rolling Cart with Wheels, Rug Pad Gripper, and a Velvet Throw Pillow Covers Cozy Square Pillowcases in this donation request will help create a calm setting with soothing colors and textures so that students feel welcome and comfortable.
