Tools for Active Learning in Small Groups

My Project

Providing my students with dry erase boards, markers, erasers, and a rolling whiteboard will make a meaningful difference in their learning. The dry erase boards will give students a hands-on, reusable space to practice math problems, write responses, and share their thinking without the fear of making mistakes. Markers and erasers will make lessons more interactive, allowing for quick adjustments and keeping students engaged. The rolling whiteboard will give me a flexible tool to model strategies and display key points right where small groups are working, helping students better visualize concepts in both reading and math.

My goal this school year is to increase student engagement and participation during small group instruction by using these interactive tools.

I aim to help each student build confidence, improve accuracy, and strengthen their understanding through hands-on practice, creating a supportive and inclusive classroom where every child feels motivated to succeed.
