My Students

I teach K-3 special education. I support students in both the resource setting (my classroom) and the inclusion setting (general education classroom). Regardless of the setting I work with my students in, I want to ensure they have the best supports and resources possible to help them reach their highest potential.

My students are amazing, kind, loving individuals that try their best and are eager to learn new things.

Some of my students need additional supports/resources to allow them an even greater experience while at school.

My Project

My students will use the items in this project to allow for more movement while they are sitting in their seats and noise reduction to help focus on learning throughout the school day. Wobble cushions and movement bands will allow for my students to continually move as needed while sitting at their desk to increase engagement and focus. This will allow my students to have much needed movement throughout the school day. My students will use noise reduction headphones throughout the school day to help eliminate distractions and focus on independent work. The items in this project will positively impact my students throughout their school day.
