My Project

My 2nd grade students are bright, determined, and full of potential. They are bilingual learners who bring a rich tapestry of cultures, languages, and perspectives into our classroom. Their curiosity and persistence shine through every day, whether they’re tackling new vocabulary, solving math problems, or expressing their ideas through art and writing. Many come from homes where financial challenges and limited access to resources make learning more difficult, but never less important. With the right support, these resilient and culturally diverse students can continue to grow, thrive, and reach for their dreams.

Pencils, paper, scissors, and erasers might seem simple, but they are powerful tools for building literacy, creativity, and confidence—especially for young learners navigating two languages.

These supplies support writing, drawing, problem-solving, and hands-on learning every day. Healthy snacks fuel their focus and energy, ensuring they can stay engaged and do their best. Your support gives them what every child deserves: the chance to learn, create, and thrive with dignity and joy.
