My Students

Our classroom is made up of 23 exceptional, unique, and diverse students. They all come from different cultural and economic backgrounds. Each student brings character to our classroom culture.

Each student in our classroom brings in a wealth of knowledge and experience that is different from that of the classmate they are sitting next to.

Despite the different backgrounds they come from, they all come together to make each day a great day to learn something new and exciting.

My Project

The tools and texts selected for this project will be used to help my students learn acceptable coping mechanisms for social and emotional growth. The items purchased will help students grow not only in an academic setting, but help them learn how to handle their feelings and emotions in real-life settings.

In our ever evolving world, students are finding difficulties in learning how to properly control their emotions.

It is necessary to have different tools and outlets to use when teaching children how to behave in different settings, whether that be in school, at home, out in public, and even online.
