My Project

My Contemporary Craft and Design students enjoy harnessing their artistic skills to create functional works of art. As part of our curriculum they must learn art and craft techniques for various materials. Our classroom has acquired a very large amount of leather scraps and we are eager to use these materials but need the tools used to transform the raw materials into artwork.

We are requesting leather tooling, punching, and sewing tools to be able to transform our leather scraps into keychains, jewelry, pouches, and bags.

Students will be able to explore sewing techniques, stamping and tooling techniques, leather dying, and image transfer.
