My students need the 12 Gaiam Kids Balance Ball Chairs to help disperse some of their energies, so they can concentrate more on learning. The design of the chairs will also help with physical fitness.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 26 energetic young minds! My school is located on the SW side of Oklahoma City, which is predominately Hispanic. My school is a Title I school, and in order to bridge the gap, I try to teach valuable real life experiences.
My incredible students are active, curious, and eager to learn.
They have inquiring minds and learn best through kinesthetic learning. We are constantly on the go, as frequent movement is imperative at this age, as they learn.
My Project
My students are creative and willing to learn, however, due to their age, socioeconomic status, and other challenges they face, they sometimes need some help expelling excessive energies. Developmentally, they need several outlets to "recharge" their brains to help pull them back into learning, and these bouncy seats will help them do just that.
These chairs will help them with attention and fitness!
The Gaiam Kids Balance Ball Chairs will not only help the students improve their focus in the classroom, but they will help them fight childhood obesity. Their core strength will improve as they wiggle while they learn.
