Aloha, everyone! I am asking for your help to provide my students with a more comfortable learning environment. We are lucky to live in Hawai'i where everyday feels like summer and we can enjoy the tradewinds. As we all know, that is not always the case during our summer and fall months.
As this year's health teacher, part of my curriculum is to help students learn how to self-regulate their emotions.
That is oftentimes challenging to do when your body is uncomfortable due to the temperature of the classroom. The mission for this project is simple: To make sure every child feels comfortable at school which often times serves as a second home. Let's create an environment for the sophomore class to feel safe, comfortable, and cozy.
