This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 500 hard working, amazing students in a low income, small East Texas town. They love to have fun and learn by playing games in PE. We love to focus on sports and movement skills while making learning fun and engaging for our students.
I strive to make my classroom a fun and exciting, but also an engaging learning environment for all of my students.
I love to inspire kids to learn to love fitness and to live a healthy lifestyle.
My Project
My students love station time in the gym. Unfortunately most of our equipment is older. We would love to use these new games during station time. The dart games will be so much fun for kids of all ages. They will love this new addition to our gym and have so much fun playing together during stations. We will use the cooperative team mats to learn teamwork and working together and they will become a station activity. Also, one of our favorite times of the year is Halloween in the gym. The Halloween decorations will be a great addition to decorate the gym for Halloween. It is so fun to see the students faces light up when they see all the decorations.
