My Project

I would like to introduce my students to a Tonies box audio system. The Tonies box and characters allow students to utilize screen-free technology and gain benefits that come from being read to, such as listening skills, comprehension, language development, etc. Each character has stories and/or songs that are preloaded. Characters are fiction, non-fiction, songs and music.

I would like to get the Tonies audio box to allow for literacy and free choice centers for my Preschool students.

When the character is placed on top of the box, the stories and songs play. My preschool students can adjust the volume on their own as well as change the characters when they would like.

Besides listening independently, the Tonies box can be connected to to the speaker in the room for whole-class listening. We can play calming music while working or during quiet time.
