Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students walk through the door each morning full of energy, ready to learn, and excited to see what knowledge they will gain for the day. I make sure to come to school ready to match that energy.
I teach at a Title I school in southern California where almost all of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Eighty-five percent of the students qualify for a free or reduced-price lunch.
Despite the many associated hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their very best which I expect of each of them. They want to be in school because they want to learn, and it's my pleasure to make this happen.
My Project
Our classroom was generously gifted a printer. The time has come to keep that printer working on a continuous basis. To accomplish that, we need a ready supply of toner.
The best way to keep the printer printing is to have OEM toner in stock.
Thank you for considering giving to this project. The generosity shown to my classroom is something special and being able to speak to my students about the realities of outside funding and what donors mean to our classroom is always one of the welcomed discussions in our room.
