This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm requesting unique Tombow Dual Tip markers and unique erasers for our Drawing Center. These distinctive markers will help my students push their work and creativity to the next level. The arts teach so many important lessons. I watch as my students become more confident and learn to take chances. They know that, at times, there is no correct answer and that thinking creatively can help you understand many ways to solve a problem.
The materials you will be funding will help my students learn to explore materials and techniques at their own pace.
We recently rearranged the entire art room so our students experience an authentic studio experience. The students now work in the Drawing, Painting, or Sculpture centers/studios. The Tombow markers and erasers requested will be placed in the Drawing Center. These markers are very popular with the students, allowing them to create incredibly detailed drawings.
