My students need these tools including a Dash Robot, iPad, Osmo kit, and cases to use for new activities to have more creativity and engagement in our classroom.

My Students
What are we in 2nd grade? We are flexible and organized! My students walk into my classroom every day excited for the new adventures on which I will take them. They are eager to see what each new day will bring and willing to try their very best in every activity they engage in.
My classroom is an inclusion classroom servicing Special Education students in a general education setting.
I have to use a lot of differentiation throughout my school day to be sure I am reaching and allowing each student access to the curriculum to the best of their ability. I spend hours modifying, creating, and altering assignments so that each student can be confident in his/her work and feel like they are able to meet the requirements for every assignment.
Also, in my class, I have many students that are a part of nutrition club which gives them food weekly to bring home. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day. They know my classroom is their happy and safe place.
My Project
We are requesting a new iPad to be able to access school approved programs. We will use Dreambox (our math program) and Raz kids our reading program. We are requesting an OSMO set to use with the ipad too. We already have one and we love it. Osmo encourages kids to learn through hands on play. Dash the robot will help students build, program and animate. We are also requesting cases for our supplies and technology to help protect them so they can last a long time. We all know 2nd graders hands can get slippery and we want to protect them!
