Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first grade teacher in a vibrant and diverse community, I strive to create a classroom that feels like a second home—a place where my students feel safe, inspired, and excited to learn. Right now, one of the biggest challenges we face is organization. Our growing classroom library and learning materials are scattered, making it hard for students to access the resources they need.

With your help, we hope to add sturdy, kid-friendly bookshelves to our room.

These shelves will not only keep our space tidy but also make books more inviting and accessible. When students can see and choose books easily, they’re more likely to read—and reading is the foundation for all learning. We also need area rugs and flexible seating options.

Your support will help us transform our classroom into an even more organized, welcoming environment where students can focus on what matters most: learning and growing every day.
