Help me give my students a media center with Wooden Open Shelf Bookcase, Community Library Box/Outdoor Little Library, and a Charging Table.

My Project

I intend to make the media center the heartbeat of our school. Our media center currently lacks furniture for the students to comfortably relax and read informative books.

I plan to create a scholar-friendly modernized space to enhance the learning abilities as well as interesting reading resources available to our scholars.

I would like to provide our students with bean bag seating as well as couches, small tables, traditional desk, bookshelves, and private seating arrangements.

Ensuring our students are comfortable is an essential component in transforming them into lifelong readers. The furniture I have designated will help our scholars and educators by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The couch and bean bag chairs will provide them somewhere to comfortably sit. The tables will be used as end tables for water bottles or laptop tables as students complete their work. The coffee table will also provide a work surface for students. The bookshelves would provide storage space for books and electronic reading devices. The living room-style seating would also provide a comfortable space for teachers during staff meetings or professional development sessions. Finally, the book exchange box to be housed outside the door of the media center would house books available for exchange amongst scholars to share without staff interaction.
