This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Making modifications to texts is essential for my students to access the curriculum. Currently we are piecing together adapted books and student engagement is minimal.

Having access to modified books can help my students access the curriculum and take them places they could not have imagined.

With the purchase of a book binding machine and materials to create adapted books, I will be able to create sturdier books for students so that they are able to access texts similar to their peers in other classrooms. My students deserve to have the materials to be successful in the classroom!
