Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Kinder team has a total of 40 students and we as a team would love it if they ALL can enjoy this amazing resource this year. I have 13 scholars in my classroom, to me they are scholars and not just students because I believe they can achieve their academic goals and are capable of doing anything they set their mind to.
My Project
Exposure to non-fiction literature is a Common Core standard for kindergarten. Many magazines in this subscription align with our curriculum and also with current events.
Our engagement with Scholastic Let's Find Out magazine will broaden student awareness of life and the world around them.
The use of this magazine format will expose students to a variety of text features that are not found in fictional literature. This subscription includes digital access which will be beneficial during this distance learning time.
This magazine will help build their knowledge in science and social studies virtually and with a physical copy they get to keep!
