My Project

I make sure my students know just how key reading is to their future success! These additions to our classroom library will further engage students in their daily independent reading and get them even more excited about reading & learning.

The books requested here are high-interest, student-suggested texts that I know they will be racing to the book shelves to read.

My students are required to read independently for at least 20 minutes per day, and these books will make their dedication to this reading easier and more enjoyable.

The additional items requested - mini flashlights & a classroom vacuum - will allow students to add even more enjoyment to their reading experiences. "Flashlight Fridays" are great way to engage students during reading time, and students love the flexible seating option that our classroom rug provides, but it can definitely use a good cleaning from time to time to keep it a place in the room that students will love to sit down with a good book.
