My Project
Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader is a very important project for my classroom. For many of our students this year, kindergarten was their first school experience. Many started the year without recognizing letters or letter sounds.
Our students are making great progress this year academically, and we are beyond proud of their growth.
With many of our student recognizing all of their letters, letter sounds and over thirty high frequency words they are now starting to read.
As teachers, it is very important that we have a variety of leveled readers for students to read independently and small group instruction leveled readers we can use during instruction time. These books will be used daily to help increase our students literacy skills.
