With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level.
It is important for children to not only see themselves in the books they read, but also to see people that might be different from themselves as well.
Knowing and understanding about different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences helps children to be better, well rounded, and more compassionate people.
