My Project

Post COVID, my school has noticed a literacy gap in our younger grades. Specifically in 6th, we want to ignite their love for reading through engaging and exciting books. Our budget has declined over the years but we are looking to put some more zest into our library.

Kids deserve a chance to fall in love with literacy.

It's my job as an educator to foster that love with as many books and option I can find. It is backed by statistics, that the more kids read, the more access they will have to job opportunities post graduation! Now is the time to instill that love of learning, so that they can choose whatever career path speaks to them!
