Help me give my students new books to explore and develop a love for reading.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Lampley's classroom raised $420

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are amazing littles in a high poverty area. I mostly serve students that are English learners and with a new library for our classroom their language skills will improve greatly.
We spent over a year participating in distance learning and their literacy skills have taken a hit.
They deserve an opportunity to return to their pre-pandemic greatness. Great leaders are great readers.
My Project
These new books will help to fill our library. I am a first year teacher and my students do not have a library on site. Leaving our campus once a week to go to the library is not enough to help students develop their literacy skills.
They will learn to read using these books, as well as responsibility when students check them out to take home for the day.
We are doing a million word challenge this school year and this will help us on our way. Thank you for your support.
