This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creative, inquisitive, and full of life! They each have amazing personalities and show great interest in learning everyday. I am a resource teacher and my students have special needs that require little extra help to make them shine bright. Although they face a variety of challenges, they continue to come back to school smiling and eager to learn.
It is my pleasure to serve my students and give them the tools needed to be successful.
My school is Title One, meaning families cannot always support the school or the teachers as much as they want to. My students have challenges that they face, both at home and at school and I want my students to know that I will do everything in my power to help them achieve their goals.
My students are special in many ways, and I know that with your help they will be able to overcome the challenges they face in order to reach for the stars and achieve their goals!
My Project
Adding these books to my library will open new doors for my students to walk into! My students are reading below grade level which makes it difficult to find books they enjoy, that they can read. Having books for my students at their independent reading level is essential to their learning. These books are of high interest to my students and they will be motivated to read because they love the characters in the books. You would be blessing my students and helping them reach their goals this year in reading!
