My students bring something fun and exciting to school with them each and every day. Even though each of their needs are very different, all of my students have a love for learning.
My students are exceptional and unique.
They are great kids who deserve to have these learning experiences. They are interested in so many opportunities to learn in many different ways and best of all they are excited about it! My students take great interest when the environment around them is engaging and exciting. This is the environment I am trying to build in my classroom to promote learning and positive behavior.
My Project
Books in the classroom are essential and must be chosen with purpose! With the books I have chosen for my students will advance their learning and spark an interest in reading. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Students in my classroom like to read about many different topics and it changes frequently. I must keep updating and changing books in my classroom library, that is used my students daily to engage them in their reading and learning! We do not have these books in our collection and I know my students will benefit from them! I would like to have books that will hold their interests and keep them reading in my classroom!
Struggling readers will often pick up a book based on the pictures, the books I have chosen have great visuals to support all types of readers.
Supplying students with these books will provide them with a fun way to begin to read more for enjoyment! Helping students begin to learn that reading is fun is perfect way to build better readers. Wordless books, like the ones I have selected, as well as other books with ideas that will spark their interest, such as dogs, is a gateway to better reading skills for all my students. My students will love getting their hands on these amazing books!
