Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In our classroom, we are a community of learners who love to read! My students come from various economical and social backgrounds with one thing in common-our classroom is a place to learn to love school; especially reading. One of our favorite activities is to go to our school library and spend time building our imaginations. To further our love of reading, we are in need of book storage to help build our reading stamina and love of reading.
All great leaders are readers!
My Project
These book storage solutions will help my students build their love of reading by allowing daily access to classroom and library books. In order to support the love of reading and access to literature, students will be ready to dive into reading as we begin our school year with these materials. With daily access to their books, students will come to learn the joy and value of reading every day at school. Our class moto, "All great leaders are readers" is posted in our classroom and is a daily affirmation that we are the future and reading will help us succeed.
