it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
At our Title I school, almost all of my students are second language learners. Their drive to learn and achieve is amazing.
My classroom is full of learners and future leaders.
My students are the face of the United States of America. Some were born in this country to English speaking parents. Some were born in the United States to Spanish or Vietnamese speaking parents. Others were born in another country and immigrated to the United States. One thing that all of my students have in common is their zest for learning. They are so wonderful in that they don't see the differences between each other.
My Project
Please help our classroom receive two Elmer's Crayon Sharpeners. These third graders are very talented and love to color. But when the crayon tip becomes flat it is difficult to add those very important minute details.
A precise amount of color with a sharp point helps to enhance student work.
We are spending a lot of time this year enhancing our work with colors. Students don't live in a black and white color and their work should reflect their vibrant lives. We are constantly amazed at the color in our world, help my thriving third graders continue to add their mark and color to this world.
