Remember being in the classroom that was REALLY a closet? That's us! This closet has a million and twelve shelves, but no whiteboards!
My students reside in Hawaii.
They are of many different nationalities, speak different languages, and come from many different countries! Our school is a Title I public school. Many of them receive free and reduced priced lunch. I must say though that my students amaze me every day. They are full of life. They love to learn and be in the classroom. They try their hardest. They keep me on my toes; no two days are the same. My students are the reason I do what I do!
My Project
I am requesting a portable White Board. In my "classroom", aka closet, there are NO whiteboards. I have two small easels that are borrowed from my fellow coworker.
This whiteboard will allow me to show more visuals, project information, display information and more. This will allow my lesson to run smoother giving me more to work with!
This project is important because the more materials we have the more I can aid my students in become the BRIGHTEST stars out there!
They deserve the best resources in the world and it is my duty to get it to them!
More than half of students from low‑income households
