My Project
After 16 years of teaching various grades, I had the most amazing year teaching 3K (3 year olds). I have learned so much about myself as a teacher and how to approach teaching and learning alongside young people. What I learned is how much a variety of literature and differentiated materials motivate and engage children throughout the day. Having a diverse library and sensory experiences give every child access to explore their interests, see themselves through the eyes of different characters, and engage in activities that spark and promote creativity.
