This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Getting our students to read has become a challenge in this age of technology. Each week, I have to get creative to present my students a well informed and enticing way to see books.

It is so much easier to build reading skills when your child enjoys reading.

Having a special bookmark for their book will give them extra motivation to read every day. Colorful, and quirky bookmarks will encourage kids to take good care of their books and maintain them well. Having a diverse collection will give my students a choice of their personal bookmark.

I encourage my students to finish their book all the way through, the stickers in my project will serve as an added incentive to finish a book per week.
