Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a first year teacher I have developed a very special bond with my first class. We have been through a lot together this year and I have seen tremendous growth in all of my students. They are an incredibly caring, thoughtful and intelligent group who deserve to be celebrated!
They are making a big step on their educational journey next year, heading on to middle school.
My students have voiced both excitement and anxiety about moving to middle school. I want to give my students some "fidget" items as an end-of-year gift to help sooth any fears they have about making this big next step.
Now that I have my first year under my belt I want to continue to support my next group of students. Please help my next incoming class be prepared to tackle 6th grade with all the resources they need by helping them obtain notebooks, pencils and folders to keep them organized.
