My Project
These resources will put space, the universe, and astronauts front and center as we explore our next unit of study. Graphic novels, encyclopedias, solar system picture books, and fiction novels would increase engagement for all types of learners!
To Infinity and Beyond...
As we look towards our next unit of study, we try and think of engaging ideas that will hook our students, as readers or as engineers! A space-themed STEM station would make for an interesting center for early finishers or a connecting calm-down station as students work through overwhelming feelings and engagement. Building with LEGO sets is always calming, however, connecting them to space station science and space exploration, while building with STEM supplies, allows us to interconnect subject areas. These resources would add a zest to the second part of our year!!
