Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Will we got one Ender 3 printer, thank to Donors Choose, and our club is growing. It's growing to the point that we need a second printer. They are a bright and inquisitive group of kids and are excited about the ballon cars we are designing.
The club rule is you must have a "C" in every class to come to the club.
We have seen an increase in grades with students in the club. Even students who are not turned on by school, have demonstrated a new excitement about being involved.
My Project
This project give our students a chance to learn skills that will help them in the future. Our main focus is teaching basics 3D printing, including some simple 3D modeling in Tinkercad and 3D printing using the Ender 3 printer. As the student's advance we will instruct them in Fusion 360.
The 3D and Design club bring a new excitement to learning!
We continue to expand the possibilities of 3D printing and design into the other STEAM projects. We are working on gardening project, such as self watering spouts for 2 liter pop bottles. With the help of parent involvement we are offering lesson in basic coding. Brought on because of the enthusiasm they seen in their children.
