My Project

¡Bienvenidos a la clase de Maestra Parra! Our class is part of the Dual Language Program in beautiful Arizona. The program focuses on developing culturally responsive, active learners who are intellectually challenged and engaged. It is wonderful to see kids develop a love for the languages English and Spanish!

Science is a process of investigation. It’s posing questions and coming up with a method. It’s delving in.”-Sally Ride, the first American woman to travel to space. Her journey from a passionate physicist to an iconic astronaut serves as an inspiration to countless individuals worldwide.

This project is designed to inspire students to ponder the natural world beyond the constraints of gravity. In the project, students will learn about the natural phenomena of space. Students will build rockets to launch. Yes, it’s rocket science!
